EARACHE - HEAVY METAL CULTURE MAGAZINE EDITORIAL LAYOUT

This project's main goal was to build a magazine around a specific genre of music, and I chose to base the magazine around the heavy metal culture. I built a custom logo, cover, and two spreads that featured the iconic heavy metal band "Slayer". I used a strict color palette that reflects the lighting used in the band's live shows and bold typography that gives the magazine a modern aesthetic that separates it from the usual Photoshop saturated metal magazines.
