Well, it’s been a long while since I’ve been on here but I have so much new content to share so I need to refresh this blog a bit. I recently graduated from art school (finally) and I have been busy trying to get my career started in the design industry. I currently have some freelance work keeping me busy but I’m still hustling to get a full time job with some financial stability. It hasn’t been easy so far but I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be. I have been learning HTML5 and CSS3 and rebuilding my portfolio site in my spare time since I figured it’s time to refresh the look since it has been a couple years. Opportunities are on the horizon and I’m just trying to build my coding and design skills so I will be prepared. Keep posted for some pics from the Adult Swim art show at gallery 88, and I’ll leave with a preview of my new site. Back to coding and playing Skyrim.

Ok, so I haven’t been keeping this blog updated since I am extremely close to finishing up school and focusing on getting my career in the design industry started. This summer has been quite a journey filled with traveling and family so I have too many pics that accumulated along the way. Instead of blogging about each individual location or event that I have been to I figured I just am going to put it all in a 2 part compilation of random pics from my summer and get sort of caught up on my blog. back to the grind of school work for now….

123 Klan got some skateboard decks laser etched for a art show in Frisco a while back with their signature illustrations and typography. The craftsmanship on these boards are simply amazing and the typography just looks stunning. 123 Klan is constantly raising the bar every time they release new work. I would pay a ridiculous amount of cash to own one of these boards, Lets just hope I have some major cash in my pocket if I ever come across one.

Really nice mural from Aaron De La Cruz, His Line work with the paint brush is beyond dope. Amazing how steady this dude handles the brush, mad skills. I definitely need to check out the L.A. mural very soon.

Recently Luke Vicious, Mondizzle, and I hit up the Sniffin’ Glue art show up in L.A…..It’s been a long while since I been up in the city since school and these gas prices have been hectic but I definitely couldn’t miss a cryptik show. The show was at the New Puppy Gallery and as usual the place was filled with amazing street art, even had a police car covered up completely with art which was ridiculously dope. the main artists being featured was ABCNT, Cryptik, Nomade, and Eddie Colla and every piece of their work was just on point, mad props to Nomade for his wax seal signature on his pieces….definitely a nice touch. If you got some extra gas in the tank, then you must catch this show as well as the Art In The Streets show at the MOCA….which is next on my hit list. Keep Posted.

The new exhibit at White Walls in San Francisco featuring Ben EINE looks beyond amazing….the show is titled GREATEST and showcases Ben’s amazing typography street art. I’m definitely tempted to take a road trip down there just to catch the show…..damn these gas prices.

I recently ordered the design & designer book on the 123KLAN and I finally got around to checking it out today. The book is filled with amazing design work and graff from the 123KLAN and is put together way too dope. This book got the creative spark flowing and inspires me to do more illustrations. Much respect goes out to the 123KLAN for their incredible design work….they are definitely killin’ it right now.

The homie Luke Vicious recently designed a media book for the movie “The Fighter” for Gallery 88, and it was definitely on point from front to back. The book was handed out at the exclusive blood, sweat, and art art show last month and was scooped up by the crowd in minutes. Finally got around to posting these pics of the book, so everyone can peep out the great design work that Luke created. Be sure to catch Luke’s newest piece on display at Gallery 88 for their Funny or Die sponsored art show called “Is this thing On?” going on through the rest of this month and into the next.
